WORK EXPERIENCE

Vice President; The Goodfriend Group and Emmer Consulting
May 2017 - Present

I started with Goodfriend Group & Emmer Consulting as a Digital Media coordinator in 2017, and have worked my way up to Vice President. Over the years, I have lobbied on behalf of patient advocacy nonprofits; labor unions; trade associations; small, independent media companies, and large corporations.

I also serve as the Executive Director of the non-profit group Sports Fans Coalition, fighting for consumers in the sports industry. For SFC, I work on a variety of issues including health and safety reforms for youth athletes; college athlete name, image, and likeness rights; equal pay for women athletes; ticketing rights for fans; and media access.

The Hill named me one of the Top Lobbyists in 2021 and 2022.

Marketing Consultant; Fishbowl Marketing
December 2016 - May 2017

Managing a portfolio of nine clients encompassing more than 15 restaurant brands, I advise the companies on best practices for digital marketing — especially with regard to email. I gather, analyze, and report on a variety of KPIs including open rates, message volumes, and, most importantly, sales. In addition to this, I am project manager for special projects for clients by facilitating the needs of creatives, production specialists, and data analysts.

COORDINATOR, DIGITAL MEDIA; NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF HOME BUILDERS
AUGUST 2014 - OCTOBER 2016

After a summer internship with the National Association of Home Builders I was hired and put in charge of the social media presence for NAHB — 12 different brands across all the major platforms. I accomplished part of this task by creating a Social Media User Group to facilitate conversations between all the users involved in social media at NAHB. As a part of these meetings I maintained thorough and regular analytic reports for NAHBHome and other brands and created data-based strategy for community engagement, advocacy, and education. I was also in charge of researching and implementing new technologies to create solutions for various weaknesses in our content curation and creation workflows. In September of 2015, in the midst of a reorganization, I joined the website development team—leaving aspects of my social media work—to improve our new website. Here I worked in both a custom CMS and Sitecore to regularly update web content important for NAHB's business functions, troubleshoot, and project manage new web developments by facilitating the needs of my stakeholders with the developers.

INTERN, SOCIAL MEDIA; PROGRESSIO: IRELAND
JUNE 2013 - AUGUST 2013

In the summer of 2013 I decided to participate in an internship opportunity abroad in Dublin, Ireland through a program called Global Experiences. This program was a life changing one and you can read more about my experience here. While my internship was short-lived I learned valuable skills in social media strategy and campaign development. I also worked within Google AdWords and improved clickthrough rates on Progressio: Ireland's ads by 300%. Unfortunately, in early 2014 Progressio: Ireland had to close down.
